Explanation SecuSwitch App

This app replaces keys, chip cards etc. for authorised, controlled switching of relays.

Definitions for the purposes of this privacy policy

Operator: Is the service provider who has installed and operates a SecuSwitch system for a switching of relays.
Unit: Definition for 1-3 relays that are switched, for example a door, a rolling gate, a barrier or a lighting.
SecuSwitch App: This app - it is used to switch units in connection with the SecuSwitch system.
Location: Building of the operator for which switching of units by means of SecuSwitch is enabled.
Device ID: Is the unique identifier of your smartphone.

Collection of data when using the SecuSwitch app

When setting up a location, the following information is required from you, which, if successfully set up, will be saved on your mobile device for future requests to open units:

Location ID: Ident number of the system from the operator

Email address: Which has been deposited with the operator by you

Password: Security code (storage optional)

For security reasons, your device ID will be transmitted to the operator of the site during setup as well as future requests to open an entrance. If you are known to the operator with the above information, your device ID will be registered with the operator for future requests when the site is set up - that is, the device ID will be linked to the username and password. This maximises the security of access by only accepting requests to open a unit from this one device.

The SecuSwitch system (accepts requests from the SecuSwitch app) can also be operated with interfaces to other systems (Salesforce, Storeganise, WordPress, etc.). In these configurations, your device ID is stored in that system.

When setting up a location, the operator must know the phone number of your mobile device so that a security code can be sent to you for one-time registration, which you must provide during setup.

Presence detection (location detection)

The operator can configure the SecuSwitch system in such a way that
a) when the SecuSwitch app requests you to open an entrance, it uses Bluetooth to determine whether you are near the entrance and/or
b) when selecting the location in the app, the exact location of your smartphone (latitude and longitude) is used by GPS to determine if you are near the entrance.

Embedded content from operators

The SecuSwitch App contains embedded content that is configured and managed by the operator:
a) Operator Privacy Policy (required)
b) Customer help
c) Location name
d) Location graphic
e) Unit names

The operators are solely responsible for all of these contents and representations!

Objection or revocation against the processing of your data

The SecuSwitch app does not store any personal data. The SecuSwitch app only links the user account with the operator of SecuSwitch to the location created in the app. When a location is deleted, all data is permanently deleted from your smartphone.
To object to or revoke the processing of your data, please contact the respective SecuSwitch operator.
